There are many things that can be subjected to a cleaning marble process. Some are not actually things but home parts and surfaces. Nevertheless, it does not really matter what they are or where they can be found. Just as long as they are made of marble, surely they will need to be cleaned with a process befitting any marble surface.
But what are those befitting ways to clean marble? Well, in honesty different people are of different opinions on this. Some may see that it should be these ways but others would argue that it should be those ways. However, despite the varying views, there are some means that are generally accepted. In other terms, those can be called as standard cleaning marble steps.
Apart from those standards steps though, there are still other steps that must be considered. Those others specifically refer to some cleaning marble tips. True, they are not really necessary to make the process work. However, they can make it more effective. And by being more effective, the process can yield more benefits which, no doubt, will benefit you in the end.
But then, you should remember that not all of the tips that you might encounter actually works. Some of them may not be suitable to be applied on the situation that you are currently having or shall we say the current cleaning that you have to make. If you think though that they can actually work, try it. There's no really harm in trying unless you already know that it won't work but still decided on doing it.
But anyway, here are some cleaning marble tips that you may want to try. Generally, they could be of help in caring and repairing marble items and surfaces.
-
For a cheaper solution than those that can be bought, you can opt for baking soda instead. All you have to do is rub it on the stained marble surface, rinse it with water, dry it with a towel and you're done. You don't even have to worry about scratching the surface as baking soda is a light abrasive ingredient.
-
When rust is the stain that have to be removed on the marble surface, there are rust removers that can be purchased. However, know the risk if you really want to use them. Follow the directions correctly and choose product of low acidity as it can leave mark on the surface.
-
Never use vinegar or lemon juice to clean marble. They are of high acidity level which means they can etch the surface. Rather than being a help, they can cause more trouble instead.
-
Clean spills immediately. Not tending to them as soon as possible can cause it to dry and settle deeper into the surface making it harder to remove.
-
Marble is a soft-textured stone. Avoid dropping heavy weighted materials on it or using abrasive materials as they it can easily break into pieces.
Given here are but just a few tips to clean marble. There are a lot of them that can still be of help. To be at its best though, regular cleaning marble process must be carried out along with the implementation of these tips.

Do you have hand tools that are rusty and thinking of throwing them away? Don't yet, check out some of the questions we received on rust removal for hand tools. We have been using a natural rust removal product which contains no acid or harsh chemicals. In fact the product very well neutralizes the hand tool without damaging it. Now, pitting and scratches we are not sure going to be cured, although you be the judge in the video below.
Hand Tool Rust Removal Questions
What do you recommend for removing rust from heavily-rusted hand tools? If the tools are heavily rusted we highly recommend using Rusterizer. Soaking your tools in the solution will remove all of the rust, while leaving the steel unharmed. Using this method is a big time saver as opposed to abrasive methods of rust removal, such as using sandpaper or steel wool.
What do you recommend for removing slight rust from hand tools? Any type of brillo pad are very convenient for spot rust removal. Just rub them like erasers and they will remove the rust. Since abrasive methods of rust removal are slower than other methods, we don't recommend this method for deeply-rusted hand tools.
Do you recommend Rusterizer for hand tools? Yes, Rusterizer works well on hand tools. A quick spray and a wipe down with a rag will remove light rust caused by fingerprints. However, if you have a heavy-coating of rust, you also can use the rust remover as it is 10x more concentrated and contains no harmful chemicals.
Will removing rust from my antique tools decrease their value? This is a big debate among tool collectors. Many tool collectors believe that you should leave tools as found, so none of the character of the tool is scrubbed, wiped, or soaked away. If you primarily own tools for collecting or reselling, you may want to leave the rust on the tool to let the next owner decide how to restore it.
However, we have talked to MyCleaningProducts.com and found that they have customers who are in the antique dealers and love using the rust removal products.

Before you think you have to throw away that power tool, consider trying a 100% organic rust removal solution to instantly get rid of those rust stains. The method you will read here is not dangerous and contains no harsh chemicals. This is a new unique way to remove rust from your power tools.
Rust on your power tools can be more than just frustrating; it can actually hurt the performance of the tool. Tools, like planers, jointers, and table saws, have carefully machined cast iron surfaces for the wood to slide along freely. Unfortunately, if cast iron is left unprotected, it is very susceptible to rust.
Garages and basements are not the best places for tools. Basements are notoriously high in humidity, and garages also tend to be very damp. These conditions, along with moist sawdust, are breeding grounds for rust. Unfortunately, garages and basements are often the only practical place to put these tools.
This jointer bed (see photo at left) was left unprotected in a garage. With use, the sawdust built up on the cast iron bed. Upon dusting off the sawdust, numerous rust spots were revealed. If this condition were to worsen, it would become more difficult to save this tool from an early demise.
Since this tool was past the rust prevention stage, I tried Rusterizer to remove the rust. Rusterizer works great on surfaces that are difficult to soak in a rust removing solution. Since most of the surface was showing light rust, the whole surface was sprayed with Rusterizer. After a few minutes, the surface was wiped off with steel wool. This process was repeated a few times on the very worst areas.
As you can see from the photo on the right, this method was very effective at removing the rust. If you look closely, you can see the pit in the metal left from the largest rust spot. These kinds of rust pits are what you want to avoid. No matter what method of rust removal you use, these pits are left because the rust has consumed the good metal. Once the metal is gone, no removal methods will replace it.
The best method for keeping tools free from rust is to apply a layer of some type of rust preventative. To keep the problem from returning, Rusterizer Armor was chosen. This product is very easy to apply — just spray on the surface and wipe clean with a cloth.
After using Rusterizer for rust removal and Rusterizer Armor for rust prevention, this jointer will be easier to use and retain its value much better.

As most of you realize it is snowing up here in Minnesota and when it stops snowing I will need to get a automotive rust remover to remove rust from the inside engine compartment so that the rust doesn't end up eating a hole in my engine block.
Not many people know that when snow, and the salt that is applied on the streets to remove snow just does wonders on your undercarriage of your vehicle and more importantly the engine itself. So this year I made it a point to go out and protect my engine by getting an auto rust remover that would remove the rust from my engine compartment but also not hurt the engine auto parts and their finish as well.
I went outside and opened up the hood of my car and noticed that some of the nuts and bolts of the strut mounts had already started to rust. Needless to say, these were the areas I was going to hit first. I took out my auto rust remover and sprayed the areas and watched the rust disappear like magic. I then sprayed the whole engine compartment areas without spraying the spark plug wires because any one knows that electricity and liquid are not a good combination. To my surprise all of the rust just disappeared. Although it was minor rust, I didn't have to scrub anything, the automobile rust remover did all the work for me and all I had to do was spray the bottle.
For next year I am going to be proactive and spray the whole engine before the winter season just in case to protect my vehicle from the potential of rust. The more proactive you are when it comes to rust, the less rust you will have to worry about in the future, especially if you have a good car rust remover.

Rust Removers
When you talk about rust removers the main thing people point out about them is that all rust removers have acid in them which is the only way to remove rust from metal or any other types of material. A long time ago I would have agreed but now I firmly disagree because there are natural rust removers out there that are just as strong if not stronger than all other rust removers on the market.
When thinking about using a certain type of rust removal product make sure it is natural some products say they don't have any acid in them but make sure they are not using phosphoric acid. That stuff is harsh and you don't want to be spraying that on a windy day if you know what I mean.
Natural Rust Removers
Typical safe rust removers use no acids but only natural ingredients from the earth as their means of strength. These natural rust removers are much more stronger because the rust removal solution is make to counter the oxidation of the rust natural using no acid.
This is very beneficial to your health but also the safety of the environment as well. Always look for a rust remover that is safe to use, doesn't have harsh acids or chemicals, but also has the strength to take care of the job you are doing the first time around. Using natural rust removers will help you achieve this goal quickly and cost effectively.
